About font matching
If your new wording only reuses letters already in that line, the document's own font is re-embedded for a perfect match. Otherwise the closest standard typeface (same weight and slant) is used, so nothing ever renders as a blank box.

Important
A black box hides content visually, but the text underneath can still exist in the file. For true removal, use Compress then choose Maximum to flatten every page into an image.
